Behind the Sails Bags

  Grow up in Thessaloniki Greece, I developed a close relationship with the sea at a very early age.   Sailing and racing boats in the beautiful Aegean especially won my heart over.  In my professional life I worked for many years in big sail fabrication companies and lofts, which eventually led me to open my own, called “Sails & Covers.”

  Creativity is a part of life and should be an integral part of design.  Working around sails inspired me to imagine ways in which they could be reused when their usefulness on boats had passed.

  I intend to use sails to make bags and backpacks and to inspire many more unique and stylish creations.
